Morphology is a branch of linguistics that focuses on the process of forming order and changing the meaning of words. Morphology cannot be separated from morphemes and words. A morpheme is the smallest grammatical unit that has meaning, while a word according to the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI) is the smallest element in a language that is spoken or written and is a realization of the unity of feelings and thoughts that can be used in language.
